A Safe and Respectful Campus Environment

At TempleCity Institute of Technology & Engineering (TITE Diploma), we are firmly committed to upholding a zero-tolerance policy against ragging. In line with the guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi (vide Letter No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 01.07.2009), the Anti-Ragging Committee of TITE Diploma has been constituted to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of every student on campus.

Our aim is to provide a secure and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive without fear, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.

Overview

The Anti-Ragging Committee of TITE Diploma functions as the central body for addressing and eliminating ragging-related issues. We actively promote awareness, take preventive steps, and deal firmly with any reported incidents. The committee also monitors the campus closely to ensure compliance with anti-ragging norms as per AICTE and SCTE&VT regulations.

TITE Diploma believes in building a culture of mutual respect, empathy, and responsibility.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preventing any form of ragging within and beyond the campus premises
  • Conducting awareness drives, campaigns, and orientations on anti-ragging policies
  • Addressing student complaints related to ragging and taking swift action
  • Displaying helpline numbers, posters, and anti-ragging guidelines across the campus
  • Monitoring hostels, canteens, corridors, and other sensitive areas
  • Conducting sensitization programs for students, faculty, and staff
  • Organizing seminars, quality circles, and inter-institutional discussions on ragging prevention
  • Collaborating with local law enforcement and authorities for necessary legal steps

We urge students and parents to immediately report any incident of ragging to the Anti-Ragging Committee. Strict confidentiality and prompt action are assured in every case.

Important Note to Students

Ragging is a punishable offense under the law.

Any student found involved in ragging activities—whether directly or indirectly—shall face strict disciplinary action, including suspension, rustication, or legal proceedings as per the directives of the AICTE and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
